KPCW IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS
KPCW has many volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Here are some of our most urgent needs:
KPCW is has multiple events and programs it promotes throughout the year, and handing posters is one way we help get the word out.
Right now, we're promoting the free online classifieds page on the web, and we want to get the word out by hanging posters everywhere people would hang their announcements and signs - public bulletin boards at coffee shops, laundromats, grocery stores, **mailbox huts**. We need volunteers to help canvas all of Summit and Wasatch counties. Contact Monika Guendner at email@example.com for more information.
- We would really appreciate some help in entering data into Excel and other programs.
- Other light office work, especially before and during fund drives.
- Donor recognition projects.
We need many volunteers during our semi-annual fund drives. Volunteering during a fund drive includes answering phones, taking pledges or performing other office work. No matter your duties, you’ll certainly enjoy good food and good times. Our next Pledge Drive will be August 26-30, 2013. Contact Monika Guendner at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The station also has openings for volunteer Disc Jockeys throughout the year. We can train you to run the board and host your own show at numerous times of the day and week. Contact Jan Williams at (435) 649-9004 x306 for more information.
