Homes And Vehicles Lost in Rockport Fire, But No Lives

The Rockport Fire forced hundreds of people out of their homes Tuesday afternoon as it ravaged through the dry brush. As KPCW's Leslie Thatcher reports, several structures and vehicles were lost, but no injuries have been reported.

Red Cross Serves More Than 150 Locals In Fire's Wake

American Red Cross shelters in Coalville and Park City - established Tuesday as refuge for evacuees forced from  their homes by the Rockport wildfire - will remain open until at least 6 PM Wednesday. KPCW's Leslie Thatcher has more.

Primary Picks Top 4 For November Election

Preliminary election results are in for the Park City Council Race.

After the polls closed on Tuesday evening and votes were tallied, the four city council candidates who will proceed to the November general municipal election were determined as announced by senior recorder and election official Sharon Bauman..  Those are incumbents Alex Butwinski and Cindy Matsumoto, as well as political newcomers, Tim Henney and Mary Wintzer.

Conditions Added To Indian Hollow Approval

The proposed Indian Hollow Development near Kamas has received an approval from Summit County Manager Bob Jasper, after discussion and debate over the past 15 years.
