Wells Fargo Bank, which has sued nearly a dozen companies affiliated with Talisker, is asking Third District Court to schedule a hearing as soon as possible, to appoint a receiver who will take over the Tuhaye Golf Development and other collateral pledged by the defendants.  The bank has nominated a California real-estate consultant to carry out a foreclosure of the properties, since the defendants have allegedly defaulted on a debt of nearly $164 million.

In the ongoing legal war between ski areas, Talisker Land Holdings has won a skirmish.
Third District Court Judge Ryan Harris turned down a request from the Park City Mountain Resort, and ruled that a letter from Talisker executive Jack Bistricer, currently sealed in the court record, should not be disclosed.
The judge said the letter was part of confidential settlement discussions between the two sides. Rick Brough has more.
