When Tom Mathews died last Saturday at the age of 96, he was remembered publicly as a Salt Lake Tribune writer and a political player during the Kennedy era. But Park City locals remember him as a resident here for decades, and as a man who held a number of connections to the early days of modern Park City, according to long-time local businessman Bill Coleman. Snyderville Planning Commission Chair Colin DeFord says he thinks  a proposed amendment to the Boyer Tech Park Development Agreement is a good idea, although he and the Commission had some concerns.

And despite some concerns that a tech park isn't workable here, he says that, in a slow and steady way, it can win the day. Rick Brough has more.
