Park City’s own Freshies Lobster finishes 2nd at the “World’s Best Lobster Roll” competition over the weekend.
Freshie’s Lobster was one of ten semi-finalists at the second annual Down East Magazine’s “World’s Best Lobster Roll” competition in Portland, Maine.
Over 400 people paid for entry to the event. They tasted each of the 10 entries and then voted electronically.
This year BeetleCat of Atlanta won the most votes and took home the top prize. Freshie’s Lobster finished 2nd in the voting, Freshies won the inaugural competition last year.
Freshies Lobster started selling lobster rolls at Park Silly Market in 2008. Since then they’ve grown to a food truck, a brick and mortar location in Park City and a Salt Lake location coming soon.
