Fatal Rollover on U.S. 40

A man has died in a rollover crash on U.S. 40 Friday afternoon.  According to Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Jared Cornia, around 2pm a gray Chevrolet Trailblazer went off the road to the left at mile marker 3 near Home Depot.   The driver appeared to have overcorrected, crossed both lanes of traffic and went off the road to the right.  The car rolled several times.  The driver was the only person in the car.  He was wearing a seat belt, but sustained fatal injuries.  His identity has not yet been released.    Both lanes of traffic were closed for a while after the accident, but as of 4:30pm the left lane was open and Utah Department of Transportation was reporting the scene should be cleared by 6pm.
