The Hideout Town Council voted Wednesday to file a formal protest against Park City’s proposed annexation of 1200 acres in Richardson Flat. But council members said they’re willing to pursue dialogue with a Park City government, which will have three new council members, and a new mayor, in January.

A local resident was cited by Summit County deputies, when he fled after causing a collision inside a carwash. The mishap evidently occurred because the man was riding with his dog in front of the steering wheel.

Summit County deputies responded this week to a domestic assault at a Kimball Junction hotel; and they detained a local resident driving drunk with children in his car.
