A suspect who was detained by Summit County deputies in June for trying to contact a celebrity homeowner in Promontory returned this weekend. The intruder was a Wisconsin resident who deputies arrested and sent to County Jail after he made two failed attempts to contact the woman, because of an apparent infatuation. Rick Brough has more.

With this summer's monsoons bringing more moisture to Summit County than in recent memory... thoughts turn to what the fall and winter will bring in terms of snowfall. Lynn Ware Peek has more. 

The Tesoro Pipeline Company may come to agree with Summit County that the best place for the proposed pipeline to transport waxy crude from the Uintah Basin to refineries in Salt Lake is away from the Weber River Corridor. Lynn Ware Peek has more.

Meisha Lawson joins John Wells for another edition of Mountain Summer, including a visit from Greg West of Utah Olympic Park. He dropped by to talk about Western Day on Saturday (7/19). Travis English from Summit County Fair dropped by with Paige Lindsay, Miss Summit County 2013. They talked about the fair coming up in the next few weeks. Laurie Backus, a park ranger at Jordanelle also joined the show to talk about Fire On The Water, also on Saturday (7/19). Meisha and John also gave a rundown of a bunch of other events all over the area this weekend.

Leslie Crawford has been the Summit County Engineer for a little over a year. She's not only busy with designing and maintaining the county's roads, but is heavily involved with the proposed Tesoro pipeline, and the regional Mountain Accord process. Rick Brough has more.
