Arts-Kids has an immediate need for volunteers. Positive and caring individuals are needed at several of their after-school groups in Park City and surrounding areas. Registration is now open for Kids Summer Sailing Camps on the Jordanelle offered by Park City Sailing. Week-long programs are offered for beginners to racers aged 5 to 18 and run from June 15 to August 7. Adult programs are also available. Mountain Town Music is teaming up with a local music school to sponsor a free six-month performance and songwriting intensive program. Three months of weekly private lessons and six months of band coaching to prepare for a series of live gigs. 'Youth Introduction to Lacrosse' offered by Basin Recreation is an opportunity to introduce lacrosse to youngsters. The program is for both boys and girls, and designed for Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Registration deadline is April 17th. Canines With a Cause is looking for volunteers interested in learning dog training & assessment skills. Volunteers will foster and train prospective service and companion dogs to be placed with veterans suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
