Dryland Training

The PC MARC is offering a special Dryland Training program for individuals seeking personal training in a high-energy, group setting. The class will be held Mondays and Wednesdays May 18 to June 29, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Designed to sculpt and strengthen, the class is led by fitness coach Jillian Vogtli, who is a former U.S. Ski Team athlete and two-time Olympian. Fitness Floor 101

The PC MARC is offering an introductory fitness floor orientation on Saturday, April 30 from 9:30 to 10 a.m. This is an opportunity to learn how the machines work, gym etiquette, and the different areas of the fitness floor. Girls ages five and older are invited to improve their skateboard skills in this fun, no-pressure clinic. Instruction will be provided for all levels on Sundays May 1 to May 22, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Park City Skate Park. The fee is $60 per individual or $85 for two when registering with a friend. Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills, and develop a deep appreciation for nature. Create your own unique camping experience, make new friends, and have fun. The Summit County Health Department has created a 'Mental Health and Substance Abuse Needs Assessment' survey for County residents.  The survey's goal is to identify potential gaps and barriers to mental health services in Summit County. Based on those answers, the Health Department will develop a plan to better meet community needs. 

  

Do you want to make a child’s life better, forever? Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah is seeking volunteers to become mentors to youth in Park City. Mentors meet 2-4 times per month with their Littles to do fun activities and develop a lasting relationship. This little bit of time can make a big difference in the life of a child.
