Girl Scout Troop 2471 Reminder To Keep Water Clean

As a part of Park City Girl Scout Troop 2471's Silver Award Project, the scouts want to make the public aware of what they should not put in their water: Please remember not to put prescription drugs, cooking grease, and paints down the drain.  Nature will love you for this, thanks!

Winter Volleyball League

Get your teams together for Park City Recreation’s 6-against-6 Winter Volleyball League, played indoors at the PC MARC. Two divisions are available for adults 18 and over. The league is played on Wednesday evenings, February 4th thru April 22nd. Registration deadline is January 31st. Visit or call 435-615-5400.

Help Summit Win Energy Prize

Join Summit Community Power Works in its quest to win the Georgetown University Energy Prize. $5 million will go to the community that most reduces its electricity and natural gas consumption over the next two years. Transit Hours Extended During Festival

Transit service hours will be extended  through Saturday, January 31st. Service hours are outlined on KPCW's website, and for full transit information, and Real-Time bus tracker, visit


Service hours are as follows:

Fridays & Saturdays, service to Kimball Junction will be extended until 3:00 a.m. from the Old Town Transit Center.

Parking Restrictions Before & During Sundance

Temporary parking restrictions in the Prospector Square area begin Monday, January 19th, and last through the Sundance Film Festival, ending February 1st. There will be no parking:

  • along Prospector Avenue in front of Parking Lot G; 
  • on both sides of Poison Creek Lane; 
  • on he south side of the road Sidewinder Drive, from the corner with Gold Dust Lane, to the fire hydrant.

Owners of cars parked along these roadways are asked to move their cars as soon as possible.
