PC Recreation presents the 2016 Skateboard Series, on July 30 at 11 a.m. at the Park City Skate Park. Don’t miss this fun opportunity for friendly competition against other local skaters. Divisions include Beginner Street, Girls Street, Intermediate Street, Advanced Street, Beginner Bowl and Open Bowl. Pre-register at the PC MARC for $10 or $15 day of at 10 a.m. Space is limited. The Christian Center of Park City needs 200 volunteers (16 and older) to shop with students in their Back 2 School Basics event on Friday, August 5, 7:15 AM (until about 11:30 am) at the Tanger Outlets.  Sign up to volunteer ONLINE at www.ccofpc.org

Grab some friends, family or co-workers and get a team together for PC Recreation’s 7v7 Coed Soccer League played under the lights on Thursday evenings and some Tuesdays at the Park City Sports Complex. For those 18 and older, the league plays from August 11th to October 13th. The fee is $375 per team, and deadline to register is April 4th. Bling Fling

Bring on the Bling. From now through the month of October, Peace House is collecting gently-used fashion and fine jewelry, scarves, belts and handbags for the biggest resale event of the year: Bling Fling Boutique on Nov. 11 and 12 at Park City Community Church. Look for large Bling Fling bins at Whole Foods, Right at Home, Park City Community Church and St. Luke's Episcopal Church to deposit Bling for the Fling. And if you'd like to host a Bling it On party, email Nancy Tosti at tostinancy@gmail.com 

The Park City Cooperative Preschool is now enrolling for the 2016/2017 school year.  This non-profit, parent-run preschool delivers fun and creative education for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Parents, teachers, and children are all actively engaged participants in this small, community school with a child-to-adult ratio of 4:1. For more information, please visit www.parkcitycoop.com

Put on your walking shoes and explore Park City’s Historic Main Street.  Explore the architecture and stories of Park City’s unique history—from the days as a booming mine town to an emerging ski town. The Park City Museum’s popular Historic Main Street Walking Tours are from July 5 to September 2. Weather permitting the tours will leave the Park City Museum (528 Main Street) Monday-Friday at 2:00pm. Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday, March 8, at 2 AM. Set your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night. This is also a great time to check your smoke detectors.
