National Ability Center

On today's Local News Hour, host Leslie Thatcher speaks with the newly named Interim Park City Planning Director Bruce Erickson. Charlie Sturgis with Mountain Trails Foundation has the weekly trail update. Park City Council Member Tim Henney reviews Thursday's meeting which included discussion of a new surcharge to pay for energy efficiency and presentation of the ideas from the Lower Park Avenue Design Studio Team and the Kimball Art Center and National Ability Center are offering summer art camps for disabled youth.

The National Ability Center is back with their Summit Challenge racing event, set for next weekend on August 23rd. Rick Brough has more. 

The Red White & Snow three-day event is a fundraiser for the National Ability Center and starts today. You still have a chance to get involved in this celebration of wine, food and adaptive sport. Lynn Ware Peek has more.

The glory of the Socchi Olympics is now down in the history books, but the Olympic spirit is ramping back up for the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.  Lynn Ware Peek has more.
