County Council Considers Leash Laws

Summit County Council Member Roger Armstrong is suggesting that the county should look again at the topic of dogs and the county leash law. In a brief discussion April 10th, Council members noted that the law is routinely ignored by dog owners, but they don't have the resources in Animal Control to vigorously enforce it. Park City Sued Over Affordable Unit

Park City Municipal is being sued by the owner of an affordable-housing unit in the Flagstaff neighborhood. In the litigation filed in Third District Court, Gretchen Brooks says that under the city's enforcement of the Deed Restriction on her unit, she can't rent it for enough to cover her costs, and she can't personally use the housing.   Rick Brough has more.
