Drew Hardesty

First up this morning we are joined by Drew Hardesty and Paul Diegel of the Utah Avalanche Center to talk about the avalanche season, fatalities, side-country and social responsibility. Our second guest is  Karin Carestia, owner of Alpine Apothecary.  She is in studio to talk about her line of skin care - addressing the special needs of sun beaten/wind beaten skin in dry climate at 7,000 feet!   And last,  George Garvin is here to tell us about an event, The 5 Tai Chi Sessions with Master Jesse Tsao in early March.

Today in the program,   we move into winter, first with Drew Hardesty and Paul Diegel of the Utah Avalanche Center. Then, winter and wine?  I guess that works.  We speak with Karen McNeil, one of the foremost wine experts in the country about her new book, The Wine Bible.     Finally we’ll speak with World Cup Gold Medal Champion Ski Mountaineer Nina Silitch about a new team forming at the Utah Olympic Park.
