Stein Eriksen, who has been called the founder of modern skiing, passed away at his Park City home surrounded by family on Sunday. He had just celebrated his 88th birthday. Leslie Thatcher has more.

Long-time Park City resident, Deer Valley employee and former Park City council member Bob Wells died Sunday evening.  He was 72.  KPCW's Leslie Thatcher looks back at the legacy and kindness that Bob Wells showed to everyone he met.

Utah's ski resort world has been hit with another bombshell, as Deer Valley Resort announced Friday afternoon it purchased Solitude Mountain Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

It's the fourth major takover of a resort property along the Wasatch within the last 18 months. Rick Brough has more.
