Jan WIlliams

Director of Programming & Production

Jan Williams came onboard KPCW in 1983 as the Director of Production and quickly found her voice as the morning show host. Her formal broadcast training had her literally reading the phone book out loud, which is one of the reasons why she is able to coach KPCW's volunteer DJs staff - and nervous underwriting clients - so well. She left the station twice to pursue other big adventures and folded in those experiences into growing her position at the station.

She most recently returned to the station in 2011 as the Director of Programming & Production, as well as a host of the weekly entertainment show Fun Friday! If there is a pun to be made, a zinger to be slung, or a wit to be sharpened, Jan is often the one delivering it, on and off air.
