Summit County Manager Bob Jasper told KPCW Tuesday that he’s preparing to grant Canyons Resort a year’s extension on the deadline to finish their golf course. The Summit County Sheriff’s office has released the names of the Oakley couple involved in the murder/suicide Sunday. The two deceased individuals are identified as 40 year old female Toni Lyn Cavagnaro and 45 year old male Sean Thomas Kenealey of Oakley.

Canyons Resort is asking Summit County for an extension of time to complete its golf course, which is supposed to be finished by this September. County Manager Bob Jasper says the resort is asking for another year to finish the project.
Summit County Council Member Roger Armstrong is suggesting that the county should look again at the topic of dogs and the county leash law.
