Marion businessman Sean Wharton plans to file for an open seat on the Summit County Council, but says he's leaving his options open as to which seat he'll be running for. Leslie Thatcher has more.

The filing window for sate and county races opens Friday, March 11, but already candidates are emerging. Rick Brough has more.

On March 11th, the filing window opens for county and state races. And there's at least one Republican challenger running for House District 53, which represents most of Summit County.  Rick Brough has more on the candidacy of Woodland resident Seth Winterton.

Four seats on the Summit County Council will be on the election ballot in 2016. Of those, only one of the current incumbents says she's not running . Rick Brough has more.
