With just days before a crucial court hearing, the Park City Mountain Resort is arguing that if the Third District Court authorizes an eviction from the ski mountain they've been using, it will be an injustice not only to them, but to many third parties that depend on the resort for economic survival.
In the next couple of weeks, Third District Judge Ryan Harris is considering a large quantity of claims, allegations and legal arguments from both sides in the Park City Mountain Resort ski hill lawsuit.
In the past two weeks, the Judge heard oral arguments on three major disputes. Last week, the Mountain Resort - which had said it still has a valid lease of over 3,000 acres of its ski hill - said its lease was violated because the landlord, Talisker Land Holdings, in effect, sold the property to Vail Resorts. Rick Brough has more.
