Jesse Hunt, the executive director of the Park City Ski and Snowboard has accepted an offer from U.S. Ski and Snowboard to return as Alpine Director for the national teams. KPCW's Leslie Thatcher has more.

After his ski racing career ended, Jesse Hunt went to work for the organization for the U. S. Ski Team for 16 years, leaving as the Alpine Director in 2009 to take on the role of Program Director of the Park City Ski Team.

Elite junior skiers from across the country will be competing at the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway this week and organizers are desperately seeking volunteers.

U.S. Cross-Country Junior National Championships start Tuesday and organizers are still in need of volunteers to work the finish timing stations. If you're interested in helping, staff will train you.

Volunteers need to arrive at 7:30 a.m. for the 9 a.m. start. The days finish between by 4:30 p.m. Lunch is provided.
