As we have reported, a proposal from Summit County got the sparks flying at a meeting with several East-side mayors. County Council member Roger Armstrong said it was probably for good reason.

The County is asking East-side cities to enter into inter-local agreements to provide some financial support for the services they get from the County Sheriff. Armstrong said the presentation of that could have been handled better. Rick Brough has more.
