Park City Institute Looking For A New Home

This is the 20th season at the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center for the Performing Arts. The Park City Institute schedules the center and uses it as home base.  However, in the last 10 years, they’ve has searched for a new location so they can expand program offerings.  The Treasure Hill development may have held some potential for a new center, but now that's off the table. The proposed Treasure Hill project settlement agreement is on the calendar again this week, with the Park City Planning Commission considering it at a special Wednesday meeting.  Rick Brough caught up with Mayor Andy Beerman for a status report:

Treasure Hill Development Shares New Size Options

Park City taxpayers, in November, will vote on a $24 million bond initiative which would be used to buy down the size of the Treasure Hill project.  On Wednesday, Park City 2, LLC presented an outline of their revised development plans and the Planning Commission is encouraged with what  they see.  Carolyn Murray has this:
