Mountain Summer rolls on with another action-packed weekend, including details about The Summit County Fair - which wraps up this weekend - as well as Friends Of Animals 5 K9 human / dog race.  Jeremy Gross, a bartender at High West Distillery, also joined the show to talk about his winning entry in The Park City Restaurant Association's Summer Cocktail Contest. Hosts John Wells and Jude Robinson sampled the winning entry and loved it.

John Wells and Meisha Lawson had a load of updates for your Mountain Summer on this episode, including the latest on the Park City Extreme Cup Soccer, featuring over 400 youth soccer teams from 5 states. Travis English and Cliff Blonquist from PCRA Rodeo updated us on The Summit County Fair and Patrick Cone joined the show to talk about The Best Of Park City, published earlier in the week in The Park Record.

Meisha Lawson joins John Wells for another edition of Mountain Summer, including a visit from Greg West of Utah Olympic Park. He dropped by to talk about Western Day on Saturday (7/19). Travis English from Summit County Fair dropped by with Paige Lindsay, Miss Summit County 2013. They talked about the fair coming up in the next few weeks. Laurie Backus, a park ranger at Jordanelle also joined the show to talk about Fire On The Water, also on Saturday (7/19). Meisha and John also gave a rundown of a bunch of other events all over the area this weekend.

On the premiere of KPCW's Mountain Summer show, hosts John Wells and Peggy Ijams were joined by station General Manager and President Larry Warren to talk about the show and what's coming up. Ryan Cray and Kate Boyd from Park Silly Market and Alissa Daly from Republic Services joined the show to talk about "recycle day" which is their theme this Sunday. Travis English dropped by to talk about the Summit County Fair and Katy Wang joined the show to talk about the Park City Film Series.

It may be over two months away, but tickets are already on sale for Summit County's Fair and Demolition Derby. We talked to Fair Director Travis English about the event spanning two weekends, August 2nd to the 9th. Rick Brough has more.

The Summit County Fair officially began last Friday and runs through August 10th with some attractions you'll recognize, plus a few twists. Lynn Ware Peek has more.
