Group Says UDOT is Deceiving Taxpayers

The Utah Department of Transportation has published their second engineering review on noise impacts to property owners along I-80 where they plan to construct a climbing lane in 2018.  A new engineering report has been published but a group of citizens continue to challenge the legitimacy of the findings. Carolyn Murray has this: 

Spurred this week by a citizen advocate from Jeremy Ranch, the Summit County Council will have some further discussions about a proposed I-80 noise wall near Jeremy. A work session on the sound wall will be held Monday, November 20 at the Richins Building from 4-6pm. Rick Brough has more.

The Summit County Council heard, again, from a Jeremy Ranch resident who says his group strongly opposes a noise-buffering wall along Interstate 80. In response, the Council is considering putting the item on the agenda for a special meeting they're having on Monday. Rick Brough has more.

The Summit County Council is being asked to respond to two citizens who made requests during the public comment segment at their last meeting. Rick Brough has more.
