Alexie And Eyre Talk Film

Author and screenwriter Sherman Alexie and director Chris Eyre aired last Thursday night for a free screening of their film "Smoke Signals" which was a hit at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival.

This week, they talked to KPCW's Leslie Thatcher how they came to create a movie that is now considered an independent Native American classic. Rick Brough has more.

Sarah Pearce On Moving the Sundance Film Festival Off MLK Holiday

  While Park City and the Sundance Institute have reached an agreement to extend their festival contract through 2026, a major part of that deal is the resolution of an issue that's been lingering for several years.
