Executive's Letter Stays Sealed

In the ongoing legal war between ski areas, Talisker Land Holdings has won a skirmish.
Third District Court Judge Ryan Harris turned down a request from the Park City Mountain Resort, and ruled that a letter from Talisker executive Jack Bistricer, currently sealed in the court record, should not be disclosed.
The judge said the letter was part of confidential settlement discussions between the two sides. Rick Brough has more.

Oakley And Coalville Elect New Mayors

As a result of Tuesday's voting, the towns of Oakley and Coalville both have new mayors. Wade Woolstenhulme has been elected as Oakley's new chief executive, edging out the incumbent by 26 votes. And in the county seat, Coalville businessman Trevor Johnson won the mayor's seat. Rick Brough has more.

Woman Receives Two Years Probation For Threats

A woman has been sentenced to two years of unsupervised probation for making terroristic threats over the phone in 2012 to clerks at the Summit County Justice Court. Rick Brough has more.
