Equality Utah and 3 plaintiffs filed a law suit against the Utah office of Education claiming some of the curriculum laws are unconstitutional because they bar teachers and students from having positive conversations about homosexuality. The claim is that these laws allow bullying and potential harm to come to children who are gay or transgender.  KPCW's

Lynn started today's show with a conversation about concussions with Chris Nowinski, author of Head Games - Football's Concussion Crisis. They discussed the potentially serious injury a concussion can be, especially for young people involved in sports. Lynn also spoke with Dr. Craig Bryan, a University Of Utah professor of Psychology who specializes in depression and suicide. With all the discussion in the wake of the loss of Robin Williams, it's a good time to remember all the resources available that can help those who struggle with such a condition.

Summit County has seen a rash of suicides lately, and there's no clear answer why. But there is help available, through agencies like Valley Behavioral Health. Rick Brough has more. 

A suicide was reported Monday night near Summit Park. The case was handled by Salt Lake County officers, since the victim's body was found, just to the west of the county line. Rick Brough has more.
