The club considers requests based on criteria of need, scope of impact, and alignment with Rotary principles (see rotary.org for guiding principles). Health Education Week

Park City Municipal presents a week of health education, events, and service opportunities for the community at the PC MARC, October 16th to 20th. In partnership with the Solomon Fund and Park City Community Foundation, the National Ability Center is hosting an Open Adventure weekend in adaptive cycling, archery, and climbing wall. Cost: $5. Register by October 16th at discovernac.org.

Recycle Utah is now accepting contact lenses and contact lens packaging for recycling. Plastic contact lenses, blister packs, and top foil can be dropped in the bin inside our office. In need of reusable bags for the grocery store? Recycle Utah sells cloth grocery tote bags, as well as reusable mesh produce bags to cut down on single-use plastics. Recycle Utah Curbside Bin

Here’s a friendly reminder of what to put in your curbside recycling bin: paper, cardboard, aluminum cans, steel cans, and plastics #1-7. Remember: never put glass, Styrofoam, or plastic bags in your bin! Bring those items to Recycle Utah instead. Park City Transit Riders, the following route changes are now in effect for the shoulder season:

• No service for #4 Orange (Silver Lake/Deer Valley) & #9 Purple (Empire Pass) until mid-November

• Daily service for the Red, Green, Pink, Brown, and White ends at 10:30 p.m. until mid-November.

• The Kamas Commuter maintains its regular schedule: weekday mornings and evenings.
