Hike for Hunger

The Christian Center of Park City's annual "HIKE FOR HUNGER" from 1:30-6:30 on September 10, 2016 will help raise awareness about hunger issues in our community. This fun, family-friendly (non-competitive) event is hosted at Snow Park Lodge. Registration includes chairlift ride, shirt, bouncy house,food, drinks and music. Recycle Utah is looking for local vendors for their 7th Annual Harvest Fest. The festival is Saturday, October 1, from noon to 5 PM at High Star Ranch in Kamas. The vendor fee is $30 and ensures you a spot; please bring your own set up. Email Molly at outreach@recycleutah.org to reserve your spot. The festival is free and open to the public!

Daylight Saving Time Begins Sunday

Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday, March 8, at 2 AM. Set your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night. This is also a great time to check your smoke detectors.

If you're in the market for an antique oriental screen or a French carved desk and chair set, these and other fabulous antiques and collectibles are part of an estate sale Friday & Saturday, August 23 & 24 at 2525 Bear Hollow Dr, next to the trailhead. The garage doors open at 9am and close at 3. Hope Alliance will be returning to Haiti in October and is collecting gently used sneakers and back backs to distribute to 3 schools in rural communities surrounding Camatin, Haiti. These are for poorest of the poor school children aged 5-17 who would otherwise not have the ability to buy these items.  August 28 - September 11, you can drop off items at Basin Rec Field House (Redstone), The PC MARC (Little Kate Road), Creekside Christian Church (Bitner Rd.) and Park City Community Church (HWY 224).
