Planned Parenthood Celebrates 100 Years

President and CEO of the Utah Chapter of Planned Parenthood, Carrie Galloway, is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the national organization.  Planned Parenthood of Utah has been around 50 years and serves 50 thousand men and women for basic reproductive health issues.  Carolyn Murray has more:

On today's Local News Hour, host Leslie Thatcher speaks with Snyderville Basin Planning Commissioner, Colin DeFord about last night's meeting. While hundred - perhaps  even a couple thousand people - turned out for Tuesday's rally to support Planned Parenthood, a few of them including teens Olivia Andreni and Lindsay Gordon, Midwife Danielle Demeter and Annabel Sheinberg the Education Outreach Director for Planned Parenthood of Utah, came in to talk  about their experiences and why it's important that Planned Parenthood continue to be financially supported.

After 30 years of servicing the Park City community, Planned Parenthood is closing its Park City clinic next month. KPCW's Leslie Thatcher reports.
