On today’s program, Park City Board of Realtors President Todd Anderson and Treasurer Joanne O’Connell have an update on their visit to Washington D.C. for the National Realtor Convention. Park City Superintendent of Schools Ember Conley and School Board Member Petra Butler preview the School Board meeting agenda, including the budget hearing and results of a pre-bond survey. Snyderville Basin Recreation Director Brian Hanton has an update on the Toll Canyon trail and the beginning of the 100 acre Silver Creek park planning.

There’s been a shakeup in the Park City School Board leadership, but board members are mum on the sudden resignation of the board’s presidency by Phil Kaplan. Leslie Thatcher reports.

On today’s program, Summit County manager Tom Fisher discusses the agenda for Wednesday's meeting  Park City School  board members Petra Butler and JJ Ehlers discuss Tuesday's school board meeting and the high school  expansion price tag introduced for the first time at yesterday’s board meeting.Park City Adult Services Librarian Kate Mapp and Richard Ellis, a volunteer at the library’s writing center talk about the Small Business Resource Center and Park City Writing Center at the library.

On today's Utah's Politics Now, Park City School Board candidates Petra Butler and Moe Hickey debate the issues surrounding local education.  Park City Assistant Manager Matt Dias explains why city council voted to put a $25M bond on the ballot which, if approved, would go towards the possible purchase of Bonanza Flats.  And finally, Dr. Peter Clemens, the democratic candidate for Utah District 1 explains why he would do a better job than incumbent Congressman Rob Bishop* (R) if elected.   *Congressman Bishop was invited to be on the show with Dr. Clemens, but he declined.

PC School Board Candidates Highlight Priorities

Art Brothers, Petra Butler and Moe Hickey will face off in a June 28th primary for the District 3 Seat of the Park City School Board.   The seat is currently occupied by Tania Knauer.  They participated in a forum at KPCW Tuesday, Lynn Ware Peek has this report.
