Five individual Park City youth-on-snow teams are coming together as one all-encompassing organization, to be known as the Park City Ski and Snowboard Club. The news was released to the members of each of the different organizations in an email Monday. KPCW's Leslie Thatcher has details.

For the last 30 years, hundreds of local youth ski racers, including Olympic, national and collegiate champions, have made their way through the ranks of the Park City Ski Team. The one constant is those three decades has been the Devo - or development coach - Dar Hendrickson.

Dar was honored by the ski team last week with a Special Achievement Award. His wife, Leslie Thatcher, was there and has this report.

Park City Ski Team director Jesse Hunt said it’s time to go through your winter sports gear and decide what you may want  to sell or may need to buy because the 44th Annual Ski and Snowboard Swap is taking place on Nov. 4 - 6 at the Basin Recreation  Fieldhouse.

Jesse Hunt, director of the Park City Ski Team has the 411 on this year's Ski and Snowboard Swap and in a pre-recorded interview Jordan Schnitzer talks about his passion for art and the 90-work collection now on display at the Kimball Art Center.

Park City Ski Team Alumni Event Is Being Planned

The Park City Ski Team will host an alumni event Saturday, March 29th to continue building the legacy of the ski team that has launched thousands of young skiers and the likes of World Cup and Olympic Champion Ted Ligety. Lynn Ware Peek has more.
