Park City Library

Lacking a unanimous recommendation for the design of the Park City Library and Education Center remodel, city staff is looking for an OK from city council to proceed with demolition. KPCW's Leslie Thatcher reports.

Making way for the renovation of the Park City Library, city staffers and volunteers are moving books out of the Carl Winters Building to three other locations, mainly the Miner's Hospital.

Book Discussion & Movie Screening

Park City Library invites you to a book discussion of “Prince Among Slaves” on Wednesday, February 26 at 7 pm and a free screening of the movie adaptation of the book on Thursday, February 27 at 7 pm in the Santy Auditorium. After delving into the idea of building an entirely new library in Park City, the city council agreed that keeping the library in the Carl Winters Building and renovating that historic building is more of a priority for the community. Lynn Ware Peek has more.
