Park City Film Series

Filmmaker Jason Wise discusses his film with Leslie Thatcher on the Local News Hour that looks at the secret world of Master Sommeliers and the test that very few can pass.  The Park City Film Series presents a special screening of SOMM on Thursday evening - for 21 years and older.

During this week that some of the World's best cyclists come to Utah, the Park City Film Series will screen a documentary about a classic cycling rivalry involving American champion Greg Lemond and French champion Bernard Hinault. Lynn Ware Peek has more.

On the premiere of KPCW's Mountain Summer show, hosts John Wells and Peggy Ijams were joined by station General Manager and President Larry Warren to talk about the show and what's coming up. Ryan Cray and Kate Boyd from Park Silly Market and Alissa Daly from Republic Services joined the show to talk about "recycle day" which is their theme this Sunday. Travis English dropped by to talk about the Summit County Fair and Katy Wang joined the show to talk about the Park City Film Series.

The Park City Film Series on Thursday presents the documentary "Tanzania - A Journey Within" - the story of two unlikely friends and their trek to Africa. Rick Brough has more.

If you missed it at the Film Festival in January, this Thursday evening you can see "Alive Inside," - the runaway audience favorite at Sundance this year. Lynn Ware Peek has more.

Recycle Utah will be screening the documentary ‘Last Call at the Oasis’ Thursday, February 13th at the Jim Santy Auditorium, thanks to the Park City Film Series. Learn about the global water crisis and how you can be a part of the solution. This screening is free, but a donation of $5 will be gladly accepted.
