Oscars

Film Reviewers Linda Jager, Barb Bretz and Mark Harrington join KPCW Film Guru Rick Brough for another edition of the Film Roundtable. This time they tackle the highs and lows of the 2015 Oscars from last weekend.

As usual, Robert Redford opened the Sundance Film Festival with a Thursday press conference in Main Street's Egyptian Theater. But this year, the conversation also noted the snub Redford ogt from Oscar - not receiving a Best Actor nomination for the seas survival story All Is Lost.

Redford said he wasn't upset, but he said inaction by the film's distributor likely led to the film's weak Oscar showing. Rick Brough has more.
