LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (AP) - Noelle Pikus-Pace tugged on her hat, waved to a few fans and posed for a photo with one of her closest friends before walking off the finish deck at Mount Van Hoevenberg.

And although it wasn't the shade she wanted, her last race on U.S. soil was a medalwinner.

The U.S. Skeleton national team was announced Wednesday, and among the competitors, Park City's Kimber Gabrizak won a spot on the Intercontinental Cup team. While she didn't get a World Cup position, which would secure a spot at the Sochi, Russia Olympics, she says there's still a chance she would compete in the Winter Games. Rick Brough has more.
