Affordable Housing Created In Park City

Although it cost Park City Municipal $750 thousand dollars to placate Park City Heights developer, Ivory Homes, after contaminated soils were found on the land the City sold to them, the City insists it still accomplished its goal of creating affordable housing.  Lynn Ware Peek has more.

Sky Lodge Heads To Court

As we've reported, litigation wars have broken out at the Sky Lodge Hotel, between the group of time-share owners now running the Home Owners Association, and the Lodge's owner Ken Abdalla.

The first skirmish took place in Third District Court Wednesday, as opposing attornyes and Judge Ryan Harris hammered out some ground rules on how the two groups will operate together at the Lodge. Rick Brough has more.

Legal Civil War Breaks Out At Sky Lodge

A legal civil war has broken out at the Sky Lodge on Main Street, with clashing lawsuits filed by the hotel's owner and manager Ken Abdalla, and a group of time share owners at the Lodge.

In January, the owners group filed suit alleging that Abdalla's hotel company Malibu, which ran the rental program, had engaged in a scheme to divert rental revenues from the owners. Abdalla's lawyer Joe Wrona calls that, "a bunch of nonsense."
