Parley's Oil Tanker Spills In Time For Morning Traffic

Traffic was clogged this morning on Interstate 80, between Parley's Summit and Lamb's Canyon, due to a rear-end collision between two semi-trailers that spilled thousands of gallons of oil.

The Utah Highway Patrol says that traffic was down to one lane until about 1 p.m. and some partial closures occurred after that to clean up the oil. Rick Brough has more.

Auto Burglary Suspect Still At Large

Summit County Sheriff deputies Wednesday morning chased three auto-burglary suspects from Kimball Junction to Jeremy Ranch. Two of the suspects were caught, but the third at this time, remains at large.

The Park City School District said they increased security measures at Jeremy Ranch Elementary and Ecker Hill Middle Schools due to the incident. Rick Brough has more.

Jasper Reviews The Canyons Golf Course Process

This Thursday, County Manager Bob Jasper will hold a review of the construction progress on the Canyons 18-hole golf course, which is scheduled to be finished in September.
That comes almost a week after Canyons affiliate TCFC said, in a statement, that the schedule and design of the course could be negatively impacted because Jasper denied the site plan for the resort's new ski maintenance building.
However, Jasper told KPCW he doesn't know what position the resort will take later this week. Rick Brough has more.
