Two improvised dry ice bombs were exploded last week  in the residential are of Redstone, leading sheriff deputies to detain one juvenile and to arrest an adult male for interfering with the investigating officers.

Sheriff's Captain Justin Martinez said the bombs didn't damage any people or property, but the devises can be very dangerous.  Rick Brough has more.  

A northern Utah resident died Friday night while snowmobiling in the High Uintas area of Summit County, after he was caught up in an avalanche. Rick Brough has more.

Fugitive Closes Interstate 80

Interstate 80 westbound was closed down briefly last night so law enforcement officers could apprehend a wanted fugitive.  Lynn Ware Peek has more. 

Summit County sheriff deputies have been investigating a rash of auto thefts and burglaries.  Working with officers from the Salt Lake Valley, they may have a couple of suspects responsible for the crimes.  Rick Brough has more.

Summit County sheriff officer's searched the Kamas area this Tuesday morning and advised local residents to keep their doors locked, that after burglary suspects in a high-speed chase with Park City police fled to South Summit. Rick Brough has more.

Four suspects were arrested early Thursday shortly after the video surveillance at a Jeremy Ranch residence caught burglars going through a vehicle. Rick Brough has more. 

Officers from the Summit Wasatch SWAT team surrounded a home in Oakley Thursday night, after getting reports that a fugitive suspect was holding a woman against her will. In the end, officers captures the male fugitive - and also charge the woman, who was allegedly held captive. Rick Brough has more.

Summit County Sheriff deputies made an arrest in Oakley Wednesday night of a suspect who was wanted by police in Grantsville, after he led officers there in a high-speed chase, and grabbed a taser away from a Grantsville policeman after a struggle. Rick Brough has more.
