Jesse Hunt, the executive director of the Park City Ski and Snowboard has accepted an offer from U.S. Ski and Snowboard to return as Alpine Director for the national teams. KPCW's Leslie Thatcher has more.

After his ski racing career ended, Jesse Hunt went to work for the organization for the U. S. Ski Team for 16 years, leaving as the Alpine Director in 2009 to take on the role of Program Director of the Park City Ski Team.

With the consolidation of five separate winter sports teams under the newly branded Park City Ski and Snowboard Team, the number of events that are now managed by the single club is creating a need for more volunteers. Leslie Thatcher has more.

Five individual Park City youth-on-snow teams are coming together as one all-encompassing organization, to be known as the Park City Ski and Snowboard Club. The news was released to the members of each of the different organizations in an email Monday. KPCW's Leslie Thatcher has details.
