Fourth Suspect In Heber Drug Bust Is In Custody

The Heber City Police Department, Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office and the Wasatch Back Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested three people last week for multiple felony and misdemeanor drug charges.  A fourth suspect, Ian Debay, was not home at the time the original warrant was served but as of yesterday (Tuesday) he has now been taken into custody. A registered sex offender was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Heber City Police after entering a Wasatch School District elementary school.   Carolyn Murray has this:

The Wasatch Back Narcotics Enforcement Team received an anonymous tip about gambling machines operating in Heber Businesses.  The police investigation shows that Latino businesses were targeted by individuals offering owners 30 percent of revenues generated by the machines.  The Heber City Police Department, in conjunction with an undercover joint task force, has shut down two gambling operations in Heber.  No arrests have been made.  Carolyn Murray has this report:

A house fire in Heber City Saturday was intentionally set and a suspect is behind bars for setting fire to his father-in-law's home.  KPCW’s Renai Bodley has the story.
