Friends of Animals Utah has taken on a new name and logo, but they still have their original mission of protecting animals and adopting them into good homes. Rick Brough has more.

Kathleen Toth President of Friends of Animals Utah talks about the new rebranding campaign. The organization is rolling out with a new name and a new logo this week. Bonner Paddock talks about his challenges with Cerebral Palsy but how they didn't stop him from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and Kimball Art Center Volunteer Coordinator Samantha Greer needs you to sign up to volunteer for the annual Arts Festival.

Mountain Summer rolls on with another action-packed weekend, including details about The Summit County Fair - which wraps up this weekend - as well as Friends Of Animals 5 K9 human / dog race.  Jeremy Gross, a bartender at High West Distillery, also joined the show to talk about his winning entry in The Park City Restaurant Association's Summer Cocktail Contest. Hosts John Wells and Jude Robinson sampled the winning entry and loved it.

The Purple Paws program, from Friends of Animals Utah, looks at the familiar, tragic problem of domestic abuse - and considers that it affects the pets too. They need foster volunteers for those animals. Rick Brough has more.

 Friends of Animals Utah not only provides many of this community's beloved pets through its adoption center, Furburbia, but shelters animals at its Rescue and Rehab Ranch in Brown's Canyon. This Saturday, FOAU holds their annual fundraiser, Miss Kitty's Barking Ball. Lynn Ware Peek has more.

There’s a lot of people in the Park City area who love dogs – and also, many who love wine. Now, the two have been combined for a fundraiser called “Yappy Hour.” Rick Brough has more.
