On today's program, fill-in host Lynn Ware Peek speaks with local resident Erin Ruzack,  who supports a pedestrian crossing on Hwy 224 near the Blue Roof Market.  Then, Summit County Transportation manager Caroline Ferris and Public Works Director Derrick Radke on the road improvement proposal for the Jeremy/Pinebrook interchange.  Also, Jenny Dorsey and David Williams spoke about Healthy Laughs, a fundraiser for the People's Health Clinic on September 5th at the Montage, and Anna Lea Cantor and Anne Frank of the Newcomers Club to talk about their September 8th Annunal Luncheon. 

The Summit County Council Wednesday got an update on their transit system. And it was apparent that their decisions on some major items are awaiting further study. Rick Brough has more.

In a special joint session, members of the Summit County Council and Park City Council brainstormed ways to get visitors and residents out of their cars, to cut down on traffic congestion and jammed parking lots. Rick Brough has more.
