It was a busy morning on The Local News Hour!  It started with Park City Fire District Chief Paul Hewitt talking about the snowy roads and how to protect yourself and your home with all the new snowfall.  Then Park City Mayor Jack Thomas and Assistant City Manager Matt Dias talk about proposed legislation regarding short-term, nightly rentals (AirBnB, VRBO) that could prevent the city from banning those rentals altogether.  (Right now there are several neighborhoods in Park City that don't allow them.)   And then... drum roll...

The Summit County Council approved a height exception Wednesday for a building in the proposed Woodward Gorgoza Recreation Park — in a split 3-2 vote. Rick Brough has more.
