City Officials Respond to Thaynes Resident Water Concerns
Two weeks ago, residents from Thaynes Canyon turned out to ask the city council to divert funds in the budget to ensure that city drinking water is safe for all. One of those was Beverly Hurwitz who believes she has suffered neurological damage due to high levels of heavy metals in city tap water. City water officials Michelle DeHaan and Clint McAffee says the water is safe and meets all state and federal standards with the exception of antimony.
