The Morning Mix

Fridays, 9 to 10 AM

This music and entertainment show always features local and national musicians performing live in studio, a run-down of weekend events, and timely interviews with event producers, community event organizers and a diverse mix of athletes, taste-makers, performers, recreationalists, and locals of notoriety. 
The Morning Mix is co-hosted each week by its own 'locals of notoriety', John "JW" Wells and Christie Dilloway.

Ways to Connect

  Christie Dilloway and John Wells in-studio musical guest this week is local youth Courtney Spaulding.  They talk to Mark Nelson from the Heber Valley Railroad about the upcoming North Pole Express holiday train rides and visit with Daniel Lewis about the weekly Community Jam Nights hosted by The Cabin.  And they'll give you an in-depth rundown of Weekend Events in our area. 

Musical guests are Molly In The Mineshaft, a multi-piece strings band from Provo. They are performing this weekend as part of the Heber Valley Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Cathy King talks about PC Rotary's joint effort with PCHS Interact club in an outreach project to an area Hopi Reservation Nov 2-5. 9:40 Mike Worel and Erika Lawyer about opening night of Giving A Bleep.

On This morning’s Morning Mix JW and Christie talk with Greg Schirf from Wasatch Brew Pub about the October 14th Shot Ski event in Park City and also about his role in changing Utah liquor laws. We will also talk to Andrew Muse, local Park City resident who is building a millennial style career as a content creator, professional snowboarder, & entertainment personality. Our musical guest is Rick Gerber. He is appearing on the show solo, but he is also front man for Badfeather, playing New Year’s Eve at OP Rockwell.

On the Morning Mix today, JW and Jude welcome musical guests Terence Hansen playing a custom dual neck guitar.  Gary Lauer from the Wasatch Speaker Series shares this season's luminary lineup and Daniel Lewis from High Star Ranch, with all the Harvest Festival details.

On today’s show, Jude Robinson and John Wells are  joined in studio with Bryon Friedman who performs during the program..  Renai Bodley, KPCW General Manager, gives us a progress report on the station.  And Joëlle Depeyrot, Mental Health Manager, Doctors Without Borders, talks about healing on the front lines.

JW and Christie's guests include musical act- Oskar & Julia who will be performing during the program, plus Meisha Lawson from Autumn Aloft and Laura Wall- with the Walk to End Alzheimers. 

Mikael Lewis is JW and Jude’s musical guest. He will be performing during the program. The second guests will be Shellie Barrus and Melanie Seus of Habitat For Humanity, promoting the upcoming Overall Ball and then Minda Stockdale and Denise Carey are in studio to talk about the Scarecrows at McPolin Farm.
