The Morning Mix

Fridays, 9 to 10 AM

The information and entertainment show will feature regular and rotating segments, covering food, outdoor recreation and sports, travel, music, theater and other local, leisure activities. Anchoring the show each week will be a segment on what to do on the weekend.

John and Christie’s first guests are members of the cast of La Cage Aux Folles playing this weekend at the Egyptian Theater. They perform live in studio.  The second guest is Meisha Ross who tells us bout Autumn Aloft. Finally, Keith Barany talks comedy and comedians who will be appearing at the Egyptian Theater.

  John and Christie welcome April Souza to the program.  April will perform in studio. The second guest on the program is Gary Talley, a member of the Box Tops who are performing this weekend at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City. The final guest on the program is Mike Luers from Squatters and Wasatch Brewery. 

  On this morning’s 100 show anniversary we celebrate with guest performing live in two studios for two hours.  In the first segment, John and Jude welcome Musician Joel Pack in studio “A” who performs live in Studio.  Then in segment two we switch to studio “B” where Christie welcomes the Group Grapegrass who performs three songs.  Then it’s back to Studio “A” where Robert Bartko performs.

In the second hour of the 100 programs special, Robyn Cage sings and plays the keyboard followed by the Group Mister Sister.

  John and Jude’s first guest is Wyatt Pike who performs live in studio. Second guests include Jeff LaBounty, Jeff Award and Ginger Ries talking about the Park City Restaurant Association Summer Contest.  Final guests are Robin Marrouche, the Executive Director of the Kimball Arts Festival and Ron Butkovich, a local jewelry artist.

  Today on the program John and Christie speak with David Tolk who performs “live” in studio. The second guest is Rei Hotoda, Utah Symphony Conductor. The fiinal guests are members of Paul Revere’s Raiders who are performing this weekend at the Egyptian Theatre. 

  John and Christie’s first guest is Mike Rogers who performs live, in studio. The second guest on the program is Scott Thompson from OP Rockwell. Guest number three is Richie Furay of Buffalo Springfield and Poco who is performing this week at the Egyptian Theater. 

  John and Jude’s musical guests today are Sol Y Momma who perform live in studio. Then they visit with Insa Reipen from Recycle Utah, who brings us up to date about Uncorked Utah happening today from 5 to 10 pm.  The final guest is Robin Marrouche, Executive Director of the Kimball Art Center. 

  The Morning Mix today, live from the Wallsburg Music Festival.  John and Jude’s first musical guest is Elizabeth Hareza who performs live from Wallsburg.  The second guest is Matthew Morrison who will be performing this weekend with the Utah Symphony at Deer Valley.  Then, John and Jude introduce Mindy Dillard who sings and plays live.  Final guest on the program is Rei Hotoda who is an associate conductor of the Utah Symphony.  Our thanks to Roger Crawford for his assistance in engineering the live broadcast from Wallsburg. 

  Music guest Joel Pack performs live in studio today. Then, Judy Cullen, Marketing Director of Squatters and the Wasatch Brew Pub along with Matt Bishop, talk about local hops.  

  John and Christie welcome cast members from the show Rock of Ages performing tonight at the Egyptian Theater.  They perform live in studio. The second guest on the program is Renee Huang from the Deer Valley Music Festival who offers a schedule of summer events. Final guests today are Daniel Lewis and Patton Murray from the Leadership Class Project.
