The Morning Mix

Fridays, 9 to 10 AM

The information and entertainment show will feature regular and rotating segments, covering food, outdoor recreation and sports, travel, music, theater and other local, leisure activities. Anchoring the show each week will be a segment on what to do on the weekend.

“The Morning Mix” is hosted by Park City residents John “JW” Wells, Jude Robinson and Christie Dilloway.

Ways to Connect

John and Jude’s musical guests are Bill ‘n Diane who perform live in studio.  Guest number two is Spencer Byrne from All Seasons Adventures.  The final guests on the program are cast members from Egyptian Theatre’s production of Beauty and the Beast.  In studio are Jennifer Chadwick who plays Madame de la Grande Bouche Heidi Hunt who is Production Manager for Ziegfeld Theater Company.

Jude and guest co-host Emily Elliott’s first gusts are Lisa Needham with Rich Wyman who performed live in studio.  The second guest on the program was Ann Bloomquist, the Executive Director of EATS – Eat Awesome Things at School.  She spoke about the Fork in the Road Fundraiser Saturday night at Legacy Lodge. The final guest was Ryan Walsh, Leadership Class 23 who spoke of Their Bonanza Flat service project.

Guest number two is Brian Richards from Mountain Town Music talking about summer concerts. The third guests on the program are Nate Sears and Nicole Marks from the PC Improv: Laugh Elevated Comedy Troop.

The musical guest today is Kaia Kena, solo on acoustic guitar who plays live in studio. Kaia Kena is from Colorado, but here in Park City playing a number of gigs, including the Park City Brewery 2nd birthday celebration and Locals Jam night at The Cabin.  Then, John and Jude speak with SueAnn Kern and John Concannnon  about the Spring Toastmasters event.Final guest is  Jude Grenney of J Go Gallery and the Gallery Association who brings us up to date  about Friday night’s Gallery Stroll.

Today’s musical guest is Mister Sister.  Members of the group, Nina Oyler, Dan Hall and Brady Chavez, perform live in studio. John and Christie’s second guests are Jen Billow and  Wendy Kohn, bringing us up to date on Running With Ed.  Final guest today is Renee Huang talking about the Deer Valley Music Festival.

This morning’s musical guest is Courtney Spaulding  who is a Park City local and member of Troubled Youth Blues Band. She will be performing in studio. Guest number two is Steve Auerbach from Music Garage. He will be talking about auditions for Troubled Youth Blues Band.  Final segment of the program is an update on the Park City Follies April 20th through 30th at the Egyptian Theatre . Hunt Williams  and Jen Hardman are in studio.

John and Christie welcome today’s musical guest, Jordan Young of Candy’s River House, who performs live in studio.  Then Jimmy Carter, the original founding member of Blind Boys of Alabama, drops by to visit. The Blind Boys of Alabama are appearing this weekend at the Egyptian Theatre.  The final guest of the program is Jocelyn Scudder from the Kimball Art Center.

Today’s musical guest is Alex Boye who performs in studio.  Boye also talks about building a musical career the modern way through social media.  Christie joins John and Jude to talk about clown day traditions in Park City.  

John and Jude’s first  guests this morning are Will Rogers and Clint Buffington.  They perform in studio. The second guests, Ashley Mark and Jessica Rodriguez are from the Thin Air Festival.  The final guest on the program is Natalie McHale who is the Education Assistant at the Swaner Preserve and EccoCenter. 

On Today’s show, JW and Christie welcome Tom Bennett – a one man band – who performs live, in studio.  In the second segment of the program Terrance Simien – who is performing at the Egyptian Theatre this weekend – drops by and plays a couple of numbers .  And finally it’s an Irish Trivia Game to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
