PC – SLC Bus Ridership Increases

County will seek taxes lost in snafu

Former nanny pleads guilty
A Salt Lake nanny, who was arrested last year on charges that she harmed the infant twins of a Summit County couple, pled guilty on April 15th to two counts of child abuse. Rick Brough has more.

Park City Avalanche Forecaster Swept Away in Avalanche.
A report issued by the Utah Avalanche Forecast Center says that Park City avalanche forecaster Craig Patterson died as a result of a very small avalanche with a very bad ride. KPCW’s Leslie Thatcher has this update.

Police Identify Victims of Oakley Murder/Suicide
The Summit County Sheriff’s office has released the names of the Oakley couple involved in the murder/suicide Sunday. The two deceased individuals are identified as 40 year old female Toni Lyn Cavagnaroand 45 year old male Sean Thomas Kenealey of Oakley.

Canyons asks for extension on golf
Canyons Resort is asking Summit County for an extension of time to complete its golf course, which is supposed to be finished by this September. County Manager Bob Jasper says the resort is asking for another year to finish the project.
