Lot Owners Receive Compensation
As we reported recently, after some complex legal battles, a group of lot owners in Wasatch County achieved a settlement, allowing them to recover some of the money they put into the failed Talisman golf-course development near the Jordanelle Reservoir. SkiLink Gains Support From Business Leaders
A controversial plan to connect Utah’s ski resorts is gaining support from local business leaders. A new coalition touts the economic and environmental benefits of joining resorts along the Wasatch Front and Back by gondola, but the gathering spurred dozens to protest the meeting. KCPW’s Jessica Gail reports on the new group, which includes the head of the resort behind the SkiLink project.
Utah Democratic Party Convention Update
The Utah Democratic Party convention this weekend perhaps didn’t have as much controversy as its GOP counterpart. But there was some drama for a Park City-area candidate. Pinebrook resident Donna McAleer came within a hair of clinching the nomination to run for Utah’s First Congressional District Seat. Rick Brough has more.
