Wasatch Back Foreclosures Continue
If the Wasatch Front foreclosure crisis is deepening as reported by the Salt Lake Tribune, then the situation along the Wasatch Back is that the foreclosures continue and there’s no end in sight. KPCW’s Leslie Thatcher reports.
Osguthrope Family Takes Canyons to Court
An attorney for the Osguthorpe family says that the land they’ve leased to the Canyons Resort has been abused for years by the ski operation. The attorney argued in a Third District Court hearing Tuesday that the only remedy is to end the Canyons’ lease. KPCW’s Rick Brough reports.

Park City Water Price Tag Grows
In additional to cleaning up the water coming out of the Judge Tunnel to meet Environmental Protection Agency guidelines, Park City Municipal has a similar problem in water coming from a drain in Prospector and the Spiro Tunnel and is still trying to sort out the heavy metals problem in Thaynes Canyon. Ragnar Relay Comes to Town

Park City Council Members to Get Raise

Water Rates Increased
Park City residents will see a 12 percent increase in water rates starting July 1st. The increase was deemed necessary because of new federal and state requirements. The increase is one in a series of increases over the last 6 years. KPCW’s Linda Gorton has more.
Teachers Reject Contract
ark City teachers met Wednesday in a special emergency meeting to vote on whether to accept the Park City School Board’s contract for next year. As KPCW’s Leslie Thatcher reports, teachers rejected the offer and will wait until August to resume contract negotiations.
