Talisker Responds To Suit
Talisker, the parent company of Canyons Resort, has filed a motion asking the Third District Court to dismiss the lawsuit filed against it by the Park City Mountain Resort. Talisker argues that the leases of its 3700 acres of ski terrain to the Mountain Resort, expired last year, and the two companies need to negotiate a new agreement. Rick Brough has more.
Workers Leave Hotel
A random audit done on employment records at the Stein Eriksen Lodge by the Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) has resulted in a number of the workers leaving the hotel.
But a spokeswoman for Stein’s said they have had no fines placed on them. And she said that while the workers left, after some issues were red-flagged on their identification papers, that doesn’t necessarily mean they were in the country illegally. Rick Brough has more.

People’s Health Clinic Receives $2500 Grant

Summit County Ranks as 10th Worst
The Wasatch Back has avoided being ranked right at the bottom. But the study said that Park City is the fourth worst city, looking at crashes per population. Wasatch County is the fifth worst driving county, and Summit ranks as the 10th worst. Rick Brough has more.
