On the verge of making a bid for the Sochi Olympics as a skeleton athlete, Park City resident Kimber Gabryszak had to say goodbye to that dream - and end her career due to suffering her second concussion in as many seasons. She told KPCW Monday that it might be tough to watch the Winter Games on TV, but she's getting close to acceptance and is excited to move on. Rick Brough has more.
The roster for Olympians headed to Sochi to represent the U.S. in alpine, cross country, Nordic combined and ski jumping, snowboarding, and freeskiing. Freestyle has been finalized as the athletes rest, train, and make their final preparations. KPCW's Lynn Ware Peek has more.
