Two Women Saving Land Picked for Professional Citizen of the Year Award

Summit Land Conservancy Staff Picture

For the first time, the Park City Rotary has decided an award will be shared by 2 people.  On Tuesday, the club gave the Professional Citizen of the Year Award to Wendy Fisher, head of Utah Open Lands, and Cheryl Fox, head of Summit Land Conservancy.

They were honored, for their work over the years in preserving land in the Wasatch Back and in Utah. Most of all, they were recognized for their efforts to raise money and awareness, leading to Park City's acquisition of Bonanza Flat.  Rick Brough has more.
